   Only one reflective evaluation will be recorded each year.  A reasonable observation schedule will be developed mutually between the teacher and the observer.  In all cases, the entire process will be completed prior to May 1 of the current school year.

    Prior to the pre-observation conference, the teacher being observed should complete the first three areas below and have them available for that conference.  No formal lesson plan is necessary at that time.

    The post observation conference should be held within five school days of the observation.  The remainder of the reflection should be completed by the teacher within five to ten school days of the observation.  Within another ten school days, the observer should sign and/or comment upon the reflection.  Should there be any further related correspondence (i.e., the teacher's additional responses with further comment by the observer), it will be placed in the teacher's personnel file along with the original reflection.

    A model, completed form will be available upon request.  Staff development will be available to those who wish to participate.
